Furniture and Dance

In just over a week I will be shooting a promotional film for an exciting and colourful new range of furniture by XOBO Design. I am very much looking forward to filming on the main stage at the Dome in Brighton as well as at the Corn Exchange. It will be a choreographed, pixilated dance piece involving two dancers, a wardrobe, a desk and a stool! I’ll post it here when it is finished.

Peru

Some exciting news. After a meeting yesterday in London it seems definite enough to say that I’m going to Peru in July to make a documentary for the CREES Foundation. I’ll be flying to Cusco in the Andes and then descending through the cloud forest to the Manu national park.

I’ll be spending at least three months in Peru and for most of that time I’ll be staying at the Manu Learning Centre documenting research projects and sustainability initiatives in the area.

I really can’t wait to get my teeth into this project.

ENDGAME animation complete (maybe)

I’ve been working around the clock for almost 2 weeks now moving pixels around. When I close my eyes I still see hundreds of little squares dancing. Finally I think it might be finished, though it is the sort of geeky thing that I could tinker with forever really, and I probably will. Based on a computer game that I never quite finished making when I was a teenager, this is an updated version of the animation that I created for the BFC and Skint Records ‘Mirrors’ film challenge. Works best full screen with headphones.
